Moon Palace Spa Resort Nizuc, 3 days only Cancun ,Mexico. 04/2019

Moon Palace team showed us how to be consistent with their service and how they can create a different, better experience every time we visit Moon Palace.
We stayed at the Nizuc section, it is a part of the big resort called Moon Palace, there are three different sections which belong to the Moon Palace: Sunrise, Nizuc and the Grand which is now accessible with the day passes for the guests and for the members who are staying at Nizuc and Sunrise. Diamond members do not have to purchase any day passes regardless of where they stay.

After arriving to Moon Palace we were welcomed by Alfredo -Assistant to General Manager of the Moon Palace, Norma, Jazmin, Javier F&B Assistant Manager, Maximo, Eladio, Mario.
Our check in was fast and easy we were on the way to our room.Gustavo Aleman the VIP front desk supervisor always makes this process as smooth as possible, thank you.
By the time we got closer to the room we were nicely surprised by the entire Nizuc Team who was waiting to welcome us into our room. We received a welcome banner ,smiles and hugs. This was absolutely beautiful, very heartwarming experience. One of the kind.
There were: Jaime F&B Manager,Javier Guerrero F&B Assistant Manager,Yazmin, Miguel, Veronica,Gabriel, Eduardo, Fernando, Clarivel,”Chiliski”Eduardo , Gaby and many more. Thank you.
Moon Palace team is really committed to the highest service standards.They made us feel very special, they treated us like VIPs. Palace is our family.Thank you all.

Moments after we unpacked we went out to the Grill area to grab something small to eat. Paulino at the outdoor grill presented to us a new light and healthy lunch menu.
The grill is located by the beach, perfect location to relax and watch the waves. The Grill has very nice new chairs and new plates, brought here from England. I like this place, you are sitting
at the outdoor Grill and the surroundings help you understand you are at the special resort, Nizuc Moon Palace.There is a beautiful view of the ocean and you can hear the sound of the waves.Palace has many,many restaurants to enjoy, the menus are with many varieties to satisfy everyone, even the most seasoned foodie.
We visited following restaurants:
Pier 8 restaurant has a new menu It is lighter, fresher and more local.
The restaurant is located in the Sunrise Moon Palace section, right by the beach. Sitting there you can feel the fresh air. We like Pier 8 for many reasons: the location- almost on the beach, the service...super nice and professional and of course the food. I can easily see and taste the passion of the chefs in preparing all new menu. You do not need a reservation here. I really loved everything what I had...one comment....I had to use my resort credits for a super nice plate of oysters...$6. I think it should be included with all inclusive menu. Our dinner was absolutely AMAZING!!!!

Bravo everyone! This place is very nice to relax, I recommend to visit this place, you will not be disappointed.
El Caporales restaurant at Nizuc is the Mexican cuisine a la carte.. This place is top notch in the entire Moon Palace resort, it is the best Mexican restaurant in the entire resort
They make special dishes for breakfast and dinner. Caporales is a very exciting place with a special vibe. All decorations in side are designed to make you feel like you are in Mexico, I love it. The food is magnificent and the service is very well executed.
Angelica the Caporales Manager makes sure everything is up to the highest standards. Thank you Angelica, Yolanda, Amanda, Rosario,chef Israel, chef Leon,chef Feliciano.
Caporales Restaurant is getting to be our favorite at Nizuc. The entire restaurant is divided into different sections, this creates more private areas and could be more open for the bigger groups. I love open kitchen. Visit Caporales restaurant, I highly recommend it.
El Manglar restaurant is a buffet place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have fantastic people working there...just mentioning a few : manager Eduardo, Orlando, Isabel, chef Isabel, Inocente, Chef Raul, Edwin.
The have a lot of traditional Mexican plates and more  European dishes there too. The dessert section is very , very nice. I recommend you to try the apple strudel which they make right the in the kitchen, it taste exactly how my mom used to bake.
El Manglar is very open and could be noisy but this restaurant is very well run by the manager Eduardo, everyone works like a team.
La Gondola dinner
This Italian restaurant is located at Sunrise section, what is the best about this place is the patio. You can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air of the Caribbean Sea and during the day you can actually see the ocean.
Our dinner was on the patio, we had a very pleasant time to talk and enjoy the evening.

The food was very well presented, fresh and original,we really liked it.
Nizuc has a few big pools around where you can relax and also 2 wet bars. The beach is also accessible to relax in the cabanas. The seaweed are on the beach but not all the time. This is a seasonal occurrence and resort is trying to clean the beach as much as they can.The crew is cleaning the beach all day long.

It was very cool to see the eagle flying over the Nizuc, to keep the sky free of the birds . Yuriria, Cesar are two people responsible for the well being of this eagle.Thank you for explaining to me what you do and why.
I can not forget about our housekeeping ladies Neybi, Reyna and Carmen from the room service- thank you. Sommelier Alejandro from Momo is always very helpful. Sommelier Jose, Guadalupe bartender are ready to give me advice about new wines and drinks. They are the best and very easy to talk to. Rafael is the new manager at the Noir Club, nice guy. Jacqueline,Carlos and Minelia- thank you.
Laura the ice cream lady is very happy lady everyone who is around her is also happy by the way the ice cream from her cart is absolutely fantastic.

Moon Palace Nizuc team- thank you from the bottom of my heart....you created something special,something special not only on the beach but in my soul and heart. You opened a new chapter in my life....where anything is possible.
I always say: you get what you give...open your soul than you will be surprised what will come back to you...
The dream team who created my special Birthday party at the Gazebo at Nizuc Moon Palace Resort, Cancun, Mexico were:Javier Guerrero Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, Miguel Martinez events manager,Eduardo Carballo Nizuc Sommelier, Kristian,Miguel, chef Israel, Edwin our waiter.
I have to say the location was perfect, the table set up could not be any better, lights, music even pallets of roses in the air ...special thank you goes to Edwin...this was incredible.
Thank you for your creative mind and artistic vision chef Israel, the food was fantastic, tasteful ,fresh, very well presented.
You were thinking about making our evening spectacular and you succeeded.
Thank you Yazmin and Jazmin Mendez-for the balloons with all your wishes for my Birthday. You are always very creative people. .
Also I need to mention following Palace employees for their fantastic happy attitude and very positive vibe presented to us during our short stay:chef Fernando, Angel, Luis Leon ,Señor Martin-a new general Nizuc manager ,Alfredo his assistant, Señor Jaimie Food and Beverage Manager,Javier Guerrero Food and Beverage assistant manager,Jazmin Mendes, Manlio Sanchez,Tania, Edwin, Rodrigo and many,many more ..
We spent a lot of time on the beach at Nizuc at the VIP area. The entire concierge team including following people worked very hard to keep everything in order, thank you Erick VIP/Diamante concierge supervisor and Alejandro our waiter on the beach, you guys did an excellent job as always.Thank you Anal, Enrique for decorating our beach cabana….it was super nice
Our lunch at Palapas Delfines by the grill is always great with the chef Eginio,chef Fernando,,Eduardo,Josephine, Hermelindo, bartender Jose Guadalupe,all of you work really hard to keep all guests happy. Thank you all.

My suggestions:
The Moon Palace Sunrise and Nizuc need an adults only restaurant very soon..., there is no place for adults to relax...the Palace Grand was cut off for the members who supposedly can not go to the Grand now without the day pass. This is very unfortunate.
Another space where you really could improve is the VIP beach section, please look at what you have at Sunrise or at the Grand. It would be super nice to have a special VIP section with nicer cabanas and more trees/palms or some green bushes around that space at the beach for privacy. I really think you should create some special VIP are on the beach as you have at the beach at Sunrise.
Please keep better variety of the Nightly Petite Fours....we don t like to get the same items every night. Cold plate would be nice too.

The entire Nizuc section is very well maintained. I also noticed a new activities at the pool with flotation devices, it looks like everyone can have more fun at the pool now. Great idea.
